The sights sounds and smells are always the same, but when heading off on vacation there is a different feeling in the air. Somehow the crying TB infected children are easier to take. The delicious airline coffee almost tastes delicious and above all else I have all the patience in the world!
Matt and I are off to Mexico for a fun filled week of adventure and finding all the places the sand has hidden in our bodies. I will be finishing my dive cert, while Matt re-learns important info about clearing your mask under water, and other useful things like how to save my bacon when I panic!
Our trip plan is classic Heather and Matt…that is no plan at all! I am armed with my freshly learned Spanish grammar, and a Lonely Planet language guide. Matt has ONE change of clothes, and a Visa card. We are set!
This trip is also our last international adventure before the big one. So…we are putting new packs, electronic equipment, and systems to the test. Fortunately, Matt’s underwear doesn’t take up a lot of space in our pack so we were able to only bring 2 bags.
I will attempt to blog on this adventure using iPad, hyperdrive, and Blogsy. Here’s to hoping I can figure out how they all work!
Hasta Luego Amigos! Estoy muy felicia para me vacaciones!
